WHAT THEY DO:
STEM week, STEM month and STEM clubs in schools. Hands-on, passion-provoking, teacher-driven, constructive education.
WHY THEY DO IT:
To help educators shift curriculum toward immersive, experiential learning that involves and inspires children while teaching them lessons in science, technology, engineering and math.
WHY WE'RE INVOLVED:
We think that i2 is a Trojan horse of sorts. A move towards involving children in their learning in a full-body, won’t-forget-it-tomorrow sort of way. We like their approach of enabling teachers with good ideas and supporting them with great curriculum and training. And, we think that it will be largely beneficial for all children to be literate in STEM subjects.
